Mare VIA VITAE, chestnut, born in 1960 (Dar es Salam – via Aquia by Aquino II).
______________________________________________________________
This is a mare bred at Kozienice Stud Farm, by Dar es Salam, that jumped over a wall 2.20 m high under Wiesław Dziadczyk at CSIO Olsztyn in 1969.

Via vitae ran three seasons, but without success. She acquired fame under Wiesław Dziadczyk in 1969, in Radom, when she made a record of Poland in high-jump competition – 205 cm, but in the same season during CHIO in Olsztyn she won a Puissance Show Jumping, beating a wall of 220 cm.

She was able to win a bronze medal in the Show Jumping Championships of Poland in 1974 and in 1970 she won the competition during the CSIO in Rotterdam.

The only son of Via Vitae – VIACZYK (by CZUBCZYK, the distinguished stallion in sport ) was also a superb jumper; he took part in the World Cup Final in Gothenburg in 1990 under Jarosław Płatos, and under his brother Zbigniew won the bronze medal of Juniors Championship of Poland in 1990.
