Gelding NORTON, dark bay, born in 1969 (Effort / Nekanda / Good Bye), bred at Golejewko Stud Farm

He was trained by Andrzej Walicki and had been running for three seasons (as 2-4 years old), and won three times. Moreover, he was placed second three times, third seven times and fourth twice. Silver medal in the team competition and sixth place individually at Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980 as well as sixth place at the Great Award of Aachen in 1981 are the greatest Norton’s successes under Wiesław Hartman.

This pair started at European Championships twice (1979 and 1983) and 16 times at CSIO, and 11 times at CSI. At Show Jumping Championship of Poland, they competed 6 times and were placed as follows: 3xII (1976, 1978, 1980), 1xIII (1983), 1xIV (1979), 1xV (1977).

Norton was always a team member at Nations Cups – he started 16 times, exclusive of European Championships and Olumpic Games.

Norton’s dam is also a mother of NIEWIAŻA and both his sire and his dam’s sire had given a brave offspring sportingly.
