A pearl of Widzów Stud Farm Dżamajka is the first mare in the post-war history of Polish racing that won the Triple Crown (Ruler’s – Derby – St. Leger).

The only triple-crowned mare in Polish history
The winner of as many as 4 from among 5 classic races of the racing season 2000 – Ruler’s, Derby (with a record number of horses – 20!), Oaks and St. Leger as well as the most important of comparative distance tests – Wielka Warszawska, and also Iwno Award; all of them gave her a title “Horse of the Year”
As four years old, she won Golejewko Award and Kozienice Award (an injury after this race finished her course career) and in Bratislava, she has beaten GALILEO during Velka Cena Slovenska. Her son – DŻERALD (by Roulette) won Próbna Award and Skarb Award as two years old. Dżamajka – a winner of 11 races (in 13 starts!) – was trained by Bogdan Strójwąs; excepting her victorious debut, she started always under jockey Tomasz Dul.
