Born on September 1, 1930 in Warsaw. He died on October 25, 2020. He is buried in Stare Powązki in Warsaw (section 86-6-7).

Andrzej Grzybowski of his personal coat of arms (born on 1.09.1930) is an actor, an interior designer, a drawer, a painter and a collector.

He is son of Stefan Grzybowski, an outstanding coin collector. Since childhood, he was fascinated in horse riding, so saddle-horses and driving horses are the main subject of his drawings. Andrzej Grzybowski was also interested in architecture of eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

These extraprofessional interests, proficiency in drawing and painting as well as outstanding knowledge of both architectural styles and historical horse carriages, saddles and accessories, caused him to deal with drawing, painting and illustrator work concerning horse riding and to start designing villas and courts in historical styles.

He is an author of stylish carriages, saddles and accessories used in period movies, such as, among others, “Janosik” directed by J. Passendorfer, “Mazepa” (after J. Słowacki) directed by G. Holoubek and “Szatow & Demons” (after “Devils” by F. Dostojewski) directed by A. Wajda. He illustrated “Arabiens Pferde Allas liebste Kinder” by Erika Schiele, Munich 1972, “Araber in Europa” by Erika Schiele, Munich1982, “Hippology for everybody” by J. Grabowski, Warsaw 1984, “Carriages, breaks and harnesses in Polish collections” by Zb. Prus-Niewiadomski, Warsaw 1995. (…)
